Samples of My Work.
I invite you to take a few minutes to look over my work to get a feel for my writing style and capabilities. If the type of project you’re interested in isn’t here and you’d like to know if I do that type of work, please contact me. Note that some of the hyperlinks will take you to PDF files. Because clients might move website links or alter content for any number of reasons over time, I’ve provided samples as .html or .pdf files to ensure you’ll see the content I created (With the .pdfs, you may need to zoom for easier reading).
I’ve included several samples here, but have more that I can share via email.
AzurGo/KNAX is a Denmark-based company that creates stunning home furnishing accessories that help people keep their homes neat, organized, and clutter free—in exceptional style. Coat racks, shoe organizers, clothes racks, bag racks, and more—all have sleek, minimalist design and exquisite craftsmanship. I was thrilled to assist them in showcasing their distinctive appeal by writing the primary content for their Home and ZJUP Wall Shoe Storage pages of their website.
Makes Scents Natural Spa Line
Based in Lancaster, PA, Makes Scents Natural Spa Line creates luxury spa products for salons and spas across the country. Fueled by the determination to overcome personal difficulties and embrace the good things in life, owners Heather and Nathan Kreider built a successful luxury spa products business. In addition to assisting them with their website content, I also help them with copywriting for email blasts, press releases, product descriptions, and other projects.
Strella Social Media
Masters of social media, Rachel Strella and her team at Strella Social Media have helped many businesses (of all sizes and in all industries) build their online authority and use their presence to achieve their business goals. But when it came to communicating her own value proposition on her website, like most of us, she needed some assistance.
Panizzi & Geregach, CPA
As 1 Sky Media in Lancaster County, PA worked to develop and design the website for this full-service accounting firm, they hired me on to write the content. Panizzi & Geragach CPA wanted their website content to reflect their expertise, capabilities, accessibility, and personal approach. Here’s the Home page content I crafted for them.
DORMA is a leading manufacturer of premium access solutions for a variety of commercial and industrial markets. I’m fortunate to work with their marketing team on a variety of projects including press and product releases, editorials, and blog content.

Cargas Systems is a premier business software and consulting company based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. They specialize in implementing and customizing Accounting, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions that adapt to their clients’ unique business processes. As a resource to their marketing team, I assist them by writing customer case studies and blog content.
Blogging and Blog Ghostwriting
Posts that I’ve ghostwritten for others have appeared on high-profile business blogs, such as GoDaddy Garage, Intuit, Forbes AllBusiness, Huffington Post, and Secret Entourage. I have numerous blog ghostwriting samples. As a “ghost,” I’m not at liberty to share them publicly. Please ask me to send samples via email if you wish to see them. In the meantime, you can check out some of my blogging work below:
I blog weekly (sometimes more often). My focus: insight and information to help solopreneurs, freelancers, and small business professionals navigate the many challenges facing them.
As a contributor to New York Times Best Selling author Carol Roth’s blog, I’ve written several guest posts for her site. If you’re tough enough to handle no-nonsense advice on business and entrepreneurship, subscribe to Carol’s blog. She has a line up of powerhouse contributors with a wealth of experience and knowledge.
I’m actually not a “ghost” on this blog, but you’ll find my writing there. QuickQuote does a wonderful job of adding some pizazz to the traditionally not-so-interesting topic of life insurance. I help them by crafting weekly blog posts.
SCORE District 303 (Northeastern PA and Delaware State)
SCORE’s District 303 leadership needed a way to stay in touch with and engage its 500+ geographically-scattered volunteers at the 13 separate chapters that are part of its region. Since 2010, I’ve been writing and publishing their e-newsletter, the “303 Advisor” which highlights chapter best practices, points SCORE mentors to valuable resources that can help them in their business consulting efforts, and shares news from the District and National levels of the SCORE organization.
Heritage Lawn & Landscape Care
Heritage provides its customers with helpful seasonal tips, special offers, and the latest company news with this quarterly newsletter. I interview the company’s team members, conduct supplementary research, and write the content. Burgard Design designs and publishes the piece.
Direct Mail, Brochures, and Other Print Marketing Collateral
Heritage Lawn & Landscape Care
In collaboration with Burgard Design, I wrote the copy for the above direct mail pieces designed to compel recipients to contact Heritage Lawn and Landscape Care for their lawn and landscape services.
Pro Look Uniform
Burgard Design asked me to assist in writing copy for this brochure that needed to appeal to the various target audiences Pro Look serves.
Articles in Print Publications
A collaborative effort between Hoffmann Publishing and the Lancaster City and County Medical Society, Lancaster Physician magazine serves both the physician and patient communities with relevant information and insight. I serve as the content project manager for the publication, and also occasionally write feature articles (like this one) for issues.
Lancaster Physician Magazine – Restaurant Review
Within each issue of Lancaster Physician magazine, we include a local restaurant review. We prefer to ask a member of the Lancaster Medical Society to contribute a review, but when we didn’t have a volunteer for this particular issue, I “pinch hitted.”
